Spaghetti garlic, oil and chilli

Garlic chili Spaghetti

Spaghetti garlic, oil and chilli (Spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino)

Whenever me and my husband are really tired coming back home from work, or we are not in the mood for cooking but still want something really tasty we cook this pasta recipe.

All you need is:

Pasta Spaghetti 250g

2 cloves of garlic

3 table spoons of tomato sauce

1/2 teaspoon of hot chili in powder

Paprika powder

1 tablespoon of bread crumbs.

salt

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Parsley

Preparation:

First put 2 liters of water in a boiling pan and 1 table spoon of salt in it, turn on the heat and let the water boil.

In the meanwhile, put  the oil and sliced garlic in a frying pan, turn on the  heat to a medium and cook the garlic until nice and golden (about 4 min).

Add 3 table spoons of tomato sauce, a sprinkle of salt and cook it for about 3 min then add half teaspoon of hot chili in powder and let all the ingredients cook for 2 min.

Add 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs, sprinkle a little bit of parsley to add flavour and decorate, mix all together and turn off the heat.

Cook the Spaghetti pasta in the boiling water for about 9-10 min (al dente), after draining, put the pasta in the frying pan with the sauce.

Mix all together for about 2 mins on high heat to allow the pasta absorb the flavour from the sauce, then put the pasta in the plate and decorate it with some paprika powder, parsley and Parmesan cheese, and….enjoy.

My husband loves cooking and eating this pasta.

  1. Umm, this is a great idea. Everyone has their go-to exhaustion meal, mine is also pasta but i’ve never thought to put chili powder in it. Looks steamy, delicious and hearty.
