Appetizer with egg, tuna and cheese Recipe
I think everyone relates food or specific recipes to memories and whenever you make them again, it seems like you smell the same odours or experience the same moment of that particular time. This very easy recipe it is very special to me as I used to do it when I was a student at the university and you know when you are a student you are looking for easy, yummy things you can do very fast in case you have “self invited” friends and you have few things on the fridge.
Anyway to make these nice looking eggs all you need is:
5 eggs
1 can of tuna (any type will be ok)
2 teaspoons of cream cheese
1 teaspoon of salad cream
Salt
Chives
All you need to do is boil the eggs (they need to be boiled for about 15 minutes), then cut them in half. Take the yolks out put them on a plate and then add the cream cheese, salad cream a bit of salt (not too much), the chives and mix everything really well with a fork. After that fill the eggs with the creamy texture and that’s it.
I really wanted to share one of the recipes really close to me. Please try it, it is really worth trying, you won’t regret it. You can make it for yourself or whoever you want to impress.
Please tell me if you decide to prepare it, I am sure you will love it!
I love the way you said that about memories, you are absolutely right when I use recipes that my dad taught me, I almost feel like a kid again

Thank you mommyx4boys for the comment, it is incredible how some flavours and smells brings you back memories. Sometimes they have a “sweet and sour” taste but I guess that is how life goes. Best wishes,

What an excellent idea. You can use these eggs in ceaser salad, and call it tuna ceaser. Looks great.

MMMmmm delicious! Will definitely give these a try! Does salad cream = salad dressing?

Thank you Pntayl, yes salad cream is the salad dressing (it is a healthier version of mayo) but if you want you can use “the unhealthy mayo” or the healthy yogurt. See what works best for you! Best wishes,
Alice

Can I ask, what is salad cream?!

Basically it is a creamy condiment with egg yolk, vinegar, sugar salt, mustard. In UK you can find it in the supermarket, basically it is mayo with added mustard! Hope I helped! 🙂
