Italian Ravioli

Every time we cook “Ravioli”, lunch or dinner turns into something special and elegant. For those who haven’t got a clue of what a “ravioli”  is, it is a type of pasta which is filled with different type of sauce inside (mushroom and cheese/tomato, basil, Parmesan/ham and cheese there are a different variety).

You can make them yourself or buy Ravioli at the supermarket like we did, but I will soon post our homemade ravioli recipe.

These ravioli were filled with spinach and ricotta cheese, to cook them you just put them in the boiling water for about 2 minutes, after that drain the Ravioli. You can accompany them with a simple tomato sauce (put oil and a sliced garlic let the garlic cook for about 4 minutes at high temperature then add the tomato, a sprinkle a sugar, add salt and fresh basil) or just mix them with butter and sage. Delicious both ways! 🙂
